Closed just means that the ear cups are closed to ambient, it doesn't mean they are sound proof to ambient. It makes it much harder for people to hear what you are listening to vs open back headphones, but it doesn't mean it makes it sound proof to other people. I don't think I've heard of any headphones that have no sound leakage, it seems like you would have to defy physics to get that. Maybe some of those bone conductor headphones might work for you? I'd imagine you couldn't get the same sound quality out of those though. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have the same problem which is really too bad since I like the sound alot. JBL elite series 700 or 750NC is much better in isolating the sound. I tested them myself. I will likely return my Sony WH1000MX2 unless there's trick to fix the sound leakage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't have this issue. I tested various volume levels and asked my roommate to tell me if he is able to hear the sound. He couldn't!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Noise cancelling headphones block the outside noise so you hear only the sounds coming from the headset. They are not intended to keep the outside people from hearing what you are listing to.
