“I listen to podcasts frequently (almost exclusively); I've noticed that the noise cancelling function on some headphones seems to be predicated on listening to music instead of the human voice. Has anybody noticed a difference with these?”

I had the bose sound 35 prior and this has a better sound cancelling in my opinion. Plus the sony mx1000 are touch/motion operated which is great for working out, etc.

Please try again later.The noise cancelling in these headphones has 3 basic modes, 1) cancel all external noise, 2) cancel external noise but allows you to hear external voices, and 3) no noise cancelling.
