“How many people have these Sony 1000X MK2 and have had problems with the cracking on the band? I really want them but I'm not sure if they are gonna break easily!”

I've had both the original 1000X and the M2s, and I didn't have an issue with either band cracking. To be fair, however, I am usually careful with my things. Regardless, they feel sturdy and have yet to even show a sign of damage.

It was the previous model that customers were complaining about that was cracking on the customer(s). The band on the newer version seems quite sturdy, and nothing that I feel I should worry about with proper wear and care. Hope this helps in your decision.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had a pair for about 5 months. Haven't had any issues with cracking. They're just a beautiful as the day I received them. I do take pretty good care of them, but I have had others in the past break down over time. Hope that helps.
