“Do these things not read out notifications/texts with iPhone/iPad? I can’t find it online anywhere… This is a dealbreaker for me so if not, I will have to return them”

To my knowledge Apple only allows notification announcements on “compatible” devices, which unfortunately only includes Apple and Beats brand headphones.

Our headphones are designed to work seamlessly with Siri, which handles the "Announce Notifications" feature. To get started, follow these steps on your iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings. Tap Notifications. Tap Announce Notifications and turn it on. From there, you can customize which apps will have their notifications read aloud to you through your headphones.
