• Hi Toni, Yes, it can be used while charging if it is connected to a booted computer or AC outlet via a USB AC adaptor (not supplied) though the CHARGE indicator does not light up. -Jerome

• I found that you have to push the power plug into the back very hard. At first I thought that it was plugged in, but after the battery died I took a closer look and discovered the I didn't have the connector pushed in all the way. You have to press it in really hard until the charge light turns on. Then you'll know it's plugged in all the way. :-)
