Not for familiar with how your old ones work but these headphones connect wirelessly by Bluetooth to your other devices such as your laptop,tablet or your phone

Not sure what you mean by "equipped with" but that is what wireless headphones do...they connect via bluetooth. You can not charge while using them.

It most likely is similar. It comes with a USB and micro USB to recharge from a PC that is on that can charge and keep the internal headphone software updated.
