Hi DO. Good question. The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro Plug-In device is powered using a USB-C power adapter and can also use an optional rechargeable battery pack (holds up to 2). When using dual power mode (plug-in and batteries), the camera will receive a trickle charge from the batteries.
