Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wondered about that also! My iphone came with an adaptor type plug that allows me to use the magnetic strip reader. One end plugs into your iphone where you charge it, and the other end allows you to plug in the reader. The adaptor is short; there is only 1 1/2" of cord between the two ends. It was originally intended to be used as an adaptor for an earphone set.
