“These do not look too finish friendly. Do they damage the top finish of the washer if you ever separate? The Samsung that I had at my last house had a stacking kit made of hard plastic when you took the dryer off, there was no damage to the washer.”

It has double sided adhesive where it makes contact to the top of the washer. Would be plenty of cushioning to prevent scuffing. Very pleased with our recent purchase of this kit.
