A:AnswerYes, it works, but the instructions are awful. There are 2 styles of steel brackets in the stacking kit, the instructions poorly show 3(!) styles. You will only need one pair. I suggest you put the plastic rails on the dryer, put the dryer on the washer, push the dryer back so it is about 1.5" deeper than flush with the washer, then find the pair of brackets that align with the two screws on the dryer, one screw on the washer, and the one un-threaded hole on the washer. Just install the brackets that are the right shape. The wrong brackets wont fit at all (even though the instructions make it look like the wrong ones are supposed to be used) Best of luck!
