How is the clamping ring for the dry filter tightened or locked in place so that the filter remains in place? I purchased Stanley 4HP 6 gallon wet dry vacuum based on the reviews. I am not able to fix the dry filter bag in place as the clamping ring, which is just a plastic loop with two ears diametrically oppsite just loosely fits over the filter bag and cannot be secured or clamped. Have I GOT MISTAKENLY A WRONG CLAMP IN THE BOX ?

No, you have the correct ring, it just takes a little extra force while twisting.  I thought it didn’t fit initially either.

Again, this is NOT a wet dry vac.
This rug washer is really simple to use and clean without concerns of complicated clamps and seals. Go into Best Buy and have a salesperson demonstrate how simple it really is to remove and replace the tanks.
