• It works just as well through glass, so you can put it inside on your RV dashboard, securing it with suction cups or removable adhesive strips.

• I cannot speak to a jeep, but it does not significantly affect the battery life of my Tesla. I would assume that if you have a healthy battery, it should not be a problem.
