• When mouse is switch to middle switch position, mouse is completely off. If your turn it on in either mode, you can plug in the cord that came with it and use the mouse normally like a corded mouse.

• Just connect it via cable. It'll automatically detect that it's connected using a cable and will switch to cable mode no matter which mode you are in right now (even if you have turn it off).

• Yes, because when it's on, it's either Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz . When it is off and plugged in to the pc it is basically a normal wired mouse.
