Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the lightweight design, long battery life, and responsive performance of the Aerox 3 gaming mouse. Many appreciate the ease of setup and the customizable RGB lighting. However, some users found the side buttons to be awkwardly placed or small, and a few mentioned concerns about the mouse's size and the quality of the mouse feet. The price point was also a factor for some customers.

Absolutely love this product. Lots of features, light weight, easy to use, accurate, love the RGB. Originally has Corsair Dark Core Pro but gave me to many problems. Ran out of battery too fast and said I need something completely different and better battery. I have to say this product has a long lasting battery, FAST FAST charge, takes ONLY 15 mins to reach 100% on battery. I would HIGHLY recommend this product. ( I am a REAL person, I love TMNT 1990 movie design!) Check me out on twitch as well if you want more feedback at @Deltron_210

I really like this Steel Series Aerox 3 Wireless gaming mouse. It's light weight, smooth to move around my mouse pad and table. Love the design and rgb lights. There were a lot of negative reviews about this mouse by whiny Youtubers and I'm happy I didn't listen to any of them. Game play is great and I never had any issues they described . Judge for yourself. Its on sale now. Goes great with my MSI GS66 stealth gaming laptop (pictured).

After a disappointing rival 650 which I paid full price for both grips fell off and the usb malfunctioned, this is Best mouse on the market hands down. It’s fast, lightweight and stylish also it can hold a charge FOREVER. The usbc is also a plus

Had this since release basically. Really enjoying it. Only thing I don't like is the rgb it's kinda buggy. But it's super light. And the battery lasts longer then I expected.

This mouse gave me more room to work with since being wireless and moving it around feels really light. I really like the design of the mouse as it has a futuristic exo-skeletal look and the lightweight of it. I will say I wish they dropped the price a bit.

I really wanted to give this 4.5 stars but went high instead of low with 5 instead of 4. Great shape, quality is good for the price, software is easy to setup and much better than the monstrosity that is Razer Synapse. Fits Clawgrip/Fingertip and some Palm grip depending on handsize. Fast Charge via USB C. The firmware update out of the box wasn't as easy as could be. The USB C dongle updates separately from the mouse and cause me an issue. If your mouse won't pair after the update, restart windows with the USB C dongle plugged in and the mouse plugged in via the USB cable. Use another mouse and open the SteelSeries software to reinstall the firmware. Should work after that. The lightness of the mouse made me much more accurate in Overwatch as my flicks were faster due to the weight of the mouse. Accuracy with Widowmaker was an all-time best of 70% scoped. Give it a try, mice are very personal and while this one worked for me it might night for you. Clawgrip/Fingertip and some Palm grip depending on handsize. Fast Charge via USB C

A Great Mouse for Specific Hand Sizes and Grips

This mouse is fairly small, so it's best for people with small hands or people who use aggressive claw grips. Be aware of that before buying. I ended up returning mine because of the overall fit (and some quality control issues). The Good - It's incredibly light and agile, and it has a texture that won't slip in your hand. The left and right clicks are really crisp. It also looks great. The Bad - Like I mentioned before, this is for specific hand sizes or grip types. It was a little too narrow in the front for me, and small overall. This caused cramping in my hand over extended use. If you have narrow/small hands you'll be fine with this mouse though. Second, the size buttons are atrocious. The rear side button on my mouse had so much mushy pre-travel I though it was broken and caved in at first. They're nearly unusable. It's embarrassing that these are on a $100 mouse. Third, and possibly worst, are the skates. Replace these with some 3rd party Corepad PTFE skates immediately if you get this mouse. The ones it comes with are way too thin. Conclusion - If you have thin and/or small hands, or if you use a fairly contorted grip this mouse would be great for you. That's if you're willing to get third party skates and ignore the side buttons.

Extremely light-weight and tossable. The look of this mouse is unlike any other yet still restrained. I feel as if the battery life is a bit short but better than my previous steelseries mouse but nowhere near as good as my old logitech one but the inclusion of a usbc charging point is very appreciated. Take note of the fact that the 2.4 ghz of use requires a usbc port on your device or a dongle.

Most has great adaptability with Bluetooth or 2.4ghz for a wireless connectivity. Also can download free software to customize settings on the most such as all the different lighting effects as well as speed accuracy deceleration among other things. Mouse is extremely light and easy to use. Connects to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi fast and easy. Only negative I would give it is the price

Top Tier Lightweight Mouse for Competitive FPS Gam

Excellent mouse. Coming from other lightweight mice: Glorious Model O (wired) and Razer Viper Ultimate, this is my new go to for FPS gaming... Which consists of mostly Apex Legends. Extremely light weight and accurate, I don't have a single complaint on performance. I don't know if it's a placebo, but I have gotten better K/D ratios lately with this mouse. As far as looks, I am a fan of the honeycomb cutouts to decrease weight of the mouse. And the RGB they've added within looks far better than the other 2 I mentioned. Only complaint might be the Steel series software. It can be buggy at times trying to set RGB lighting. And I've had to kill it in Task Manager in the short time I've had the mouse. But none of these complaints affect the overall performance. Good mouse, highly recommended.

Wife loves this mouse. Personally the skates could have been better. Maybe think about purchasing ice or glass skates. Battery life is good as long as you bring the RGB down (recommend 10% brightness). Not a huge fan of the wholes, has a small creek if you squeeze.

The SteelSeries - Aerox 3 is a great gaming mouse. It's my daily driver and my most used mouse out of the many I've collected over the years. It's extremely comfortable, super lightweight, and doesn't feel like I'm going to crush it or bend it by the weight of my hand. SteelSeries software that you can download for the mouse is okay and will let you do a lot of the basics. You can tell they're trying to beef it up a bit with more features since these last couple of updates. It's a simple mouse in both design and in use and that's why I like it so much. It's accurate and I don't have any issues with the wireless mode at all. Battery life could be a little bit better but I'm assuming since they were going for lightweight they took a bit of a hit on battery life. It does charge really fast though so I've never really had too much of a problem with it.

    Changed My Mind

Change my FPS skills almost instantly. Wasn't a huge fan of ultra-lights nor these open-mesh designs. But now I can't game without it. I've always thought SteelSeries offered the best software experience for the user... and this mouse is no exception. So that part is a nice bonus. My gaming precision feels 10x better compared to a ~100 gram gaming mouse. And the switch reaction time on this bad boy is mind blowing. Glides like a feather, fits my hand great for a claw-gripper and the RGB lighting has a nice look through the body. My reaction time and head-shot accuracy in 'Sandstorm' (which is a very hectic & demanding environment...) saw a dramatic boost with this mouse. Unbelievable! If you FP Shoot... you need to check this one out. I'm a long-timer "G" diehard but his mouse changed my mind completely!

Perfect for me, advice for others

Personally enjoy everything about this mouse. Side buttons aren't an issue for me at all, but may cause issues for others. In fact I actually kinda like them. The shape of the mouse is the most comfortable I've felt holding a mouse after owning the rival 650, logitech G903, and borrowing a friend's viper ultimate. Mouse buttons 1 and 2 are super crisp, and I do enjoy those new switches. I aim with both my wrist and my arm, and still had no issue with the sensor placement. Now this doesn't mean that others won't, be weary, but this mouse feels more tailored to a specific group of users, instead of trying to please the general public with let's say more buttons or slightly better side buttons, it completely focuses on shape and feel. I feel it's a possibility that messing with those side buttons too much could very well compromise the shape. Personally, this mouse fits me perfectly and has given me no quarrels. P. S. If you apply a bit too much force on your mouse, you may experience that scratching feel. This may end up messing up a custom mouse pad if you got one. For me it takes a bit of force downward in order for that to happen, so personally no problems for me. This is for you heavy handed people, or even for the person that rages and presses down hard in the middle of a match because they are heated.

Really enjoy using this mouse. The grid-like open pattern on the top of the mouse is complemented by the dazzling RGB lighting, while the lightweight design gives the mouse a glide-like feel. Useful particularly for gaming!
