Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the lightweight design, long battery life, and responsive performance of the Aerox 3 gaming mouse. Many appreciate the ease of setup and the customizable RGB lighting. However, some users found the side buttons to be awkwardly placed or small, and a few mentioned concerns about the mouse's size and the quality of the mouse feet. The price point was also a factor for some customers.

I tested this product for a few days but I found the shape to be very uncomfortable for my hand. I normally use a palm/claw hybrid grip and the mouse shape was too uncomfortable for my liking. I think this mouse would suit smaller hands. It was very light which was impressive. The sensor is of great quality, my aim accuracy was about the same as it was with my rival 310 (45% on quake/source engine game). Overall, I think it was a great product just not for my particular style.

Nice lightweight mouse but can be a bit small depending on hand size. Didn't like the cheap sound/feel of the "click" though.

Love this mouse! Bought this one for me and the corded one for my son. This mouse is insanely light and really responsive. It also looks super cool. I can't get over how light and quick this thing is when I game. I buy a lot of SteelSeries stuff so I used their engine to customize the lighting and get the software update. Definitely recommend doing that.

    A good lightweight wireless mouse

The first Aerox 3 (wired) I had needed to be exchanged, because the body of the mouse was very creaky and I could engage the buttons by pressing around them on the case. I did not have this issue with the wireless Aerox 3, and it does feel slightly heftier than the wired version, though that could be placebo since it's only several grams heavier. The TrueMove Air sensor is very good, but I would not say it's better than the Core sensor used in the wired variant. I'm a somewhat low DPI player and have had no issues with tracking. Lift off distance is a bit higher than I'd like, and is not adjustable in software, but does not interfere with gameplay. RGB customization is great through Steelseries Engine. The mouse has three zones which can be customized with effect, color, speed, and brightness, as well as a reactive layer for on-click lighting. Probably some of the best RGB in a mouse that I've used, for those of you that like that sort of thing. There are two gripes I have with the mouse. Sometimes it will not register as being connected after waking my computer from sleep. This also happened with my wired Aerox 3, but does not happen with a Logitech mouse, so I assume it's something in the mouse firmware itself. The other problem I have with this is that it's almost twice as much as the wired version. If your use case dictates that you can switch to Bluetooth for another device and swap between them, then it probably will be awesome. I didn't have that need. The wireless dongle that is included is very responsive and introduced no latency, and the mouse was very quick to wake up from battery saving sleep, but I feel like the battery did not last nearly as long as it should even with RGB lighting set to a more aggressive battery profile (disables after a short time of non-use, and disables while mouse is moving.) Unfortunately I would say that meant I ended up using this mouse as a wired device about a third of the time I owned it, and ultimately ended up returning it for another wired version. If you really need wired, or use Bluetooth, go for it, it's a great mouse. If you don't have to have the wireless capability, then I'd suggest the wired variant instead.

Very responsive, increased my gaming Records. Very accurate sensor, my sniping and shooting in game got better. Pro : Good battery life, light weight. Cons: Only the side buttons, steelseries could have done better. The buttons was too Muchie for my liking and not big enough and not responsive enough for my taste. But other from my one con with this mouse, it’s still a great mouse. Maybe if the price was 79.99 it would sell more.

If you’re willing to spend $100 for a mouse, this is a great option. The lightweight and low profile of this mouse are perfect for my preferences. The software is easy to navigate and has a lot of options for the RGB. The only shortcoming this mouse has in my opinion is the small thumb buttons. Other than that, this mouse is great!

Mouse has a great feel however the usb c wireless dongle is a bit bulky in comparison to other brands usb a connector. For desktop this wouldnt be too big of an issue however on the go for laptops it sticks out alot further than neccessary. Wireless latency is pretty much perfect however dont notice any delay. Battery life is good and the rgb is a nice touch.

I have only own this mouse 48 hours Very Light weight (could be a issue if you like to throw your mouse) Looks amazing Software for SteelSeries software has to be one of the best software and has the lease amount of bugs. Battery life will for sure last at least 10 hours without any issues I wish it felt it was made better considering the price point, and being a "gaming mouse" everyone knows gamers are hard on their hardware. Good news hasn't broke yet :)

Super fast charging time Very lightweight Feet glide very well Only thing I don’t like is the shape is a bit small. But that’s all personal preference. For me it’s a 4/5 for sure. Only reason I won’t give 5 stars is I don’t feel good hat I have had it long enough to determine the life of the mouse.

Great mouse for clicks and overall feel. Software is ok functional you can set a profile delete it if you so desire. Great value for 100$. Only real issue is the feet. They are very thin and a small round shape that you can’t find replacements easily stateside. Those thin feet can also lead to problems with thicker mouse pads.

I did research on light gaming mice, and of course the Logitech was sold out, as always, but this was a close second option that has beyond met my expectations. I purchased this for couch gaming on my second build and still can't believe a wireless mouse can be so light and of this quality. The software is easy to use and not very demanding either. More than happy.

I gave the wired version a shot first and while it did great, it would disconnect randomly at times. This one doesn’t do that. In wireless mode it last roughly 3 days. It’s so light. I came from a Logitech g502 and man that mouse is bulky. I definitely get more headshots with this mouse. Also it’s out of stock a lot. Get it while you can!!!

Very nice mouse, extremely light weight. Very pleased with how this mouse turned out, I just took a leap of faith trying this mouse and now I’m glad I did. Battery life is extremely good because it has a feature that turns the mouse off when it sits idle for a couple minutes.

Good mouse, battery lasts a long time. The fact that it has blue tooth connection without a dongle; probably once of the best things ever invented. Well modern medicine has it beat... Good thing about the charging plug into the mouse is a type c. If it was micro-USB, I probably would have only given it 3 starts.

It works great except the update firmware part is the most frustrating thing to do. Had to use the protection plan due to connectivity issues like disconnecting or not syncing back up. Other than that, its my favorite mouse I've owned and used.

Great upgrade over the stock mouse that came with my pc. This mouse has wireless and wired capabilities, which i love because after the battery dies which is about 20 hrs of use i can plug it in and keeep using it without having to put it down. The app is easy to use and had many options to make it custom
