I had the same trouble, charged them all night and they still wouldn't turn on. But I found a fix. Gently remove the foam cups from the ear pieces and look for a small hole (distinct from the speaker holes) on the inside of one ear cup. This is the reset switch. I don't recall which side it was on, unfortunately, but just use a paper clip to press the button inside that hole to reset the headphones. They should power on after that. Hope that helps.

There's no light that turns on when they are on, it only blinks once (it's on for a few seconds) when you turn it off to show what battery state it's in with color. It does take a bit to hold the button down and turn it on, I'd say 3-4 seconds. You might also have to change your settings internally in the Xbox. I had to for my PS4 since it doesn't read a Bluetooth dongle automatically like it does plugged into a controller.
