does this headset work with an xbox? null

It comes with an audio Jack, so it should. However, it won’t work wirelessly cuz it uses a usb sensor to connect.

It uses a dongle for connecting wirelessly, so I’m not sure if Xbox will support; however, the Arctis 9 is essentially the exact same unit at a similar price and is designed specifically for Xbox. That one will use Bluetooth without a dongle, so it will work with a Bluetooth enabled PC if you wanted to do that as well.
