“If dongle's plugged into Xbox but the headphone's not on, will the console send audio normally through TV / another person's controller? Buying these as a gift for user who shares console. Won't want to plug/unplug dongle all the time”

If you have the dongle plugged into the Xbox the sound will still come out of the TV with or without the headset on, not sure about connecting another headset as well.

Please try again later.The headset is linked to one console and controller at a time as long as you plug the adapter cord that wirelessly sends a signal to the headset and is synced with the controller you should be good no issues if it does just reset or have a update through your console
