I did do like this: "I used lense cleaning pad to clean suction cup and the windshield where I planed to attach the GPS, and attached the cup when it was still wet".

Please be sure both the surfaces of the both the suction cup and window are clean from dust over time. If you're keeping it hung on the window and you live in an area where climate is changing constantly you should reapply the suction cup based on temperature. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Over time, the plastic (vinyl) suction cup loses it's pliability due to staying on a windshield that receives a lot of direct sunlight. Like most things in life, except for mosquitos, it won't last forever and needs replacment.

Please try again later.In most cases try cleaning the soft plastic with rubbing alcohol from all dirt, oils, window cleaner residue, sometimes this factors in the item not doing its job had the same problem every morning always found it in car floor came to thing weather had to do with hot/cold test it inside home in a glass table set it up next morning lay on top
