“Will this tripod work with a Nikon D500 with Nikon battery pack and 70-200mm Nikon lens?”

Yes, I would think so. I use it with a T7 and a 800-1600mm Long lens. Ball head isn’t the greatest however it does do the job.

It’s not a real tripod, it’s a slider-Pod. Think slider, and you will not be disappointed.
