Yes, you can pre-order the digital copy online instead of a physical. When you search for Super Mario Odyssey on the Best Buy website make sure you choose the digital version. They should e-mail you a code or give you one on the receipt if you do it in store. Remember that if you have a Gamers Club Unlocked membership you will only save the 20% on physical copies. Best Buy offers digital games on their site, however, they don’t offer their special “Gamer’s club unlocked” pricing on digital editions. I haven’t ever pre-purchased a digital title through the site, so I don’t know when they send the link to you to download the game. By pre-purchasing on the Nintendo Eshop, I was able to download the game the day before and then have it ready. At 12am EST I could start playing.
