• The pass will add 5 new characters to the game as well as stages and new music over the course of a year. So far, only one fighter (plus a new stage and new music) has been released.

• It is the fighter pass for the 5 characters and their stages. If you want any of the DLC characters you should get it.

• The fighter pass will grant new characters during the year of 2019 all the way til feb 2020. They will be giving you a code that you redeem on your nintendo account and you will get these characters when they are released.

• The Fighters Pass is essentially a season pass DLC code, it'll give you access to the new fighters added to the game as they're released such as the recent addition of Joker from Persona 5. I'd say its worth it if your wanting new fighters and stages gradually over the next year or two as they're released. Do note that this will not unlock MIi Fighter costumes released during this time.
