No never, it is simply an assist trophy and this will continue to be the case.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That's a hard question to answer at this time. The game isn't even out yet and we haven't gotten the next direct yet I think. I heard that Cuphead might've gotten in though, not sure if that's from the direct or speculation yet though. I say to keep your eyes out for the next few directs like everyone else as that's usually how we know who gets in and what's coming next. I'm personally hoping for Geno. And if anything else, there's always DLC for Waluigi to get in.
