When you play with friends in dock or handheld it just one camera instead of split like playing by yourself, since all the maps are made to be seen easily
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but it's not split screen. Every player (up to 8) share the same screen as they fight on a stage made of platforms. The goal is to knock other players off and into the void, essentially just anywhere where the player ends up off screen. Since it's basically a 2D game with a mostly fixed camera angle, it works pretty well this way and everyone can share the same viewing angle without any issues unlike a game like Mario Kart.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can play same-screen multiplayer in either docked (TV) or tabletop mode. However, it is a fighting game, so there is no split screen, just all the fighters on a shared arena (think Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter)
