Does this go over gravel and grass, or just pavement? null

Best used on hard surfaces. This includes pavement, walkways, hard base. Not good in soft or wet areas.

Item is terrible...I sent my back for a refund. Battery lasts all of 10 minutes after 3-4 hours of charging. If you're going to spend the money, upgrade to the Swagtron T3 - it lasts over an hour on a single charge and my 15 year old and 11 year old have been able to ride it for miles at a time.
