A:AnswerBoth sort of. Each camera comes with a cable that runs from the camera itself to the DVR. Each end of that cable has two connections. On one end, the end that goes to the camera, both connections go into the short (about 1 foot) cable that runs directly out of the camera. The other end of the cable also has a split where one attaches to the DVR and the other attaches to a power source. Each power source will support four cameras. So, in the box, they send you three different power sources because there are 10 cameras. I hope that makes sense. If you need me to clarify I will.

A:AnswerThere is a different power supply for the cameras....... there is one power plug for 2 cameras, then each other 4 cameras have a seperate power supply. All plug in to a regular wall plug or surge protector.
