QuestionCan this system be accessed remotely via a HughesNet Gen 5 Satellite System. I'm looking for a 4-6 camera wired system that stores locally but is accessible on demand (and hopefully with alerts) via my HughesNet Gen 5 system.

QuestionTwo questions. First is there a way to turn off the password so you don’t have to put one in every time. 2nd the lights on my cameras do not turn on at night when there is motion detected. My cameras are not connected to internet.

QuestionCan multiple people log into the account and view the live feed? And can they switch between the camera veiws?

There is no specific limit but we recommend no more than 3 connections at once; the available bandwidth of the internet connection that the camera is using may also limit the connections that can be sustained. Although the 60-foot coaxial cable will be joined with the power line that will connect to that power supply to carry the current. The longest recommended run is 300 feet. QuestionDo the cameras have to have a separate power source or when you plug in to DVR that acts as the power source? Also if you have existing cameras can they plug in to the DVR?

One for the DVR, one that supports 4 cameras, and another that supports 2 cameras. Not all cameras are cross-compatible. - Answer According to the company ,yes.I have had better luck with Swann Security.After 2 support calls I did find out that you can only have one account open at any time.If you have more than one device you need to share or log-out and log-in with new one.
