The product descriptions states 8-channels and it includes 4 cameras. Each camera occupies a channel. So, you can add 4 cameras for a total of 8.

You can add up to 4 more cameras to the 4 cameras that are included in the box. Our 8 channel x 4 camera kits are very popular as some customers like to start with 4 cameras and then add more at a later date.
