Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Yes, you can upgrade to the new kit and use the existing wirings. The wiring only needs to be replaced if you are upgrading to a higher resolution such as 4K or 12 megapixels.

We continued to use the old cable but if you want better picture quality I suggest using the new cable but not necessary.
