Thanks for your question. The NVR should be connected to a router via network cable if you wish to give it an internet connection to be able to view it remotely on your phone. You can also view an NVR locally on a monitor without any internet connection at all if you prefer.

In our experience, Starlink routers can be unreliable with an NVR as NVRs require a stable and constant internet connection. Starlink routers jump across satellites frequently & as a result can experience small dropouts. So whilst you may be able to get the NVR to work with Starlink, it may not be the best experience. - SD, Swann Team
