A:Answerthese cameras are not rated in mega pixels. but visual comparison typical 12mp. camera. main use is security so detail is important but not crucial.

A:AnswerThe cables are quite long however I have the same sized home and needed to buy additional cables that "plug" right in. Hot tip....make sure when you wire the house you keep straight which is the camera end of the cable and the DVR end of the cable. I had to crawl into the attic one additional time to flip it.
