• Yes, the Switch 2 can use switch one controllers and switch 1 Joy cons disconnected.

• Yes. Just fet them in pairing they work great. Obbiously they wont connect in handheld mode so it'll just be wireless.

• Well I have the switch pro controller, which does work on the switch 2, but as I read it purposely does not turn the switch 2 on, you have to turn it on manually, but otherwise works perfectly. I guess the powers that be hope you'll get tired of manually having to turn it on, and buy the pro 2 controller.
