Questionwhat is the warranty that comes with purchase? i don't want to pay additional and reviews i have read say product does not work a year later?? or parts of product break down, does not charge etc is this true? unacceptable considering cost of $300 thanks

- Answer I bought my son one and paid for warranty. After 2 years the controller knobs was worn and Bestbuy replaced it for no cost due to it being on warranty. I would suggest taking the warranty as the controllers are $80 before taxes. Even if it breaks they will fix or replace.

- Answer You might be able to exchange if you purchase the older model within the last month?? Best bet is to buy the newer model, transfer your content and sell the old model locally or on eBay. Used prices on eBay look to only be out $50 but gain much more battery life and brighter screen.

- Answer The model number that everyone lists is different then what Nintendo puts on the console for some reason. It's the same on the older model. I assume these model numbers are for inventory purposes more than anything else. Old model: Model:HACSKABAA SKU:5670100 New model: Model:HADSKABAA SKU:6364255
