Pre-orders have already sold out, It will restock later, which is why it says coming soon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pre-orders have not been sold out. I went to the store the day this was announced and was told it is too early for the store associate to place a pre-order. We just have to wait for it to become available.

Please try again later.I believe the reason why some people are only seeing "coming soon" and others have had the option to preorder and now cannot is because certain locations may not have stock yet. Maybe locations that aren't as urban haven't received their preorders yet. I called my local best buy and they too said they haven't even started preorders yet. But if I do something weird when searching the switch, all of a sudden it does say I can preorder and lets me put it in my cart, but once it is in my cart, it says that there aren't any available near my area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was late pre-ordering mine, and everywhere I looked was sold out, naturally I watched like a hawk to see if it had been restocked. Tonight (2/9) when I checked back in with Best Buy, the coming soon button was no longer there and in its place was a pre-order button, now it took me a few times to get the site to work and actually get through the check out process without it saying it was out of stock. I would check back often and see if the pre-order button is there, I was able to secure my order this way. Hope this is helpful!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to pre-order the console on Jan 31st and have it shipped to my local Best Buy for pick up. I think the pre-orders are temporarily out of stock online. So anyone who is unable to secure a pre-order online will need to see if they can secure one in store.
