As for not being able to ship it to your friend’s house, I’m not sure what the problem is but since there’s very few places in stock, sometimes they can’t ship everywhere since it’s more exclusive to the areas that are in stock. Regarding the airport, it will be fine as long as they take it as a carry on and put the box by itself when they go through security to avoid problems. The officers might open the box to inspect it, but it should be okay. Hope this helps!

A:AnswerIt depends. Where I'm located, everywhere is sold out of these. They will remain in stock for as long as they have them. I'm assuming the stock is limited so you may want to grab it fast. You can call your local stores for details about their stock.

I also recommend keeping up to date with Nintendo news since this is a special edition it may not be restocked again. Nintendo will announce if another restock is planned. They announced the restock from this past weekend on twitter.
