Use the included membership to download additional games. You also have to download the Mario kart game to your switch. Its there permanently until you delete it, regardless of your membership status. You can play the game anytime and anywhere you take your Nintendo switch.

No. There is a scratch card included that has a code on it to unlock the download. The membership is separate.

You can opt out before the free 3 month membership expires. Just make a note on your calendar so you remember to cancel your membership.

In regards for the membership, you do not need to have a payment on file. I usually buy the 1 year membership card at   a store.
