• You need the DC to DC cable and the AV cable from the DVD player to the second screen.

• It’s probably not in your connections, it’s probably the product. My grandchildren have had at least 5 different sets and they keep returning them under the manufacturer defect. We purchased the accident insurance on them also but haven’t had a set work long enough to need it. My advice return and get your money back if you can.
