How do you open up the disc drive? null

You simply press on the cover and it opens. (This is true whether or not the player has power.)

Easy. Simply depress the slight indentation at the front edge of the round plastic cover nearest you. It has a slightly raised image of an arrow pointing toward the "DVD video" logo. Push once, gently but firmly. Release and it will pop open.
