A:AnswerThe Tablo dvr does not connect to the tv but streams over your wifi to every tv in your home. Presently there are apps for Roku, Fire TV, Google TV, Android TV and ios (iPad and iPhone). They say coming soon to Apple TV, Samsung, Vizio and LG (webOS). I have only tried Roku and Fire TV. Both work though I prefer Fire TV. Hope this helps.
