• Im also on Spectrum. The menu shows your recordings, allows you to record one/all of an event, start, stop, FF/REW and delete just like Spectrum. Due to the USB port on the Tablo, you are not limited to storage size. Figure about 1GB for hour of recording. Any memory stick or USB hard drive will be fine.

• I don't know about Spectrum but the Tablo does allow you to do all of those things. That's why we got it as well, so I can record shows on regular TV.
