Will this dvr work connected to a cable network null

This device connects only to an antenna. It does NOT connect to a cable connection.

Why would you want to?? This product is specifically designed to replace the high cable tv bills. You can view and record local over-the-air channels and still stream your favorite premium or streaming channels without paying for channels you don't want or need.

DVR records only signals from your antenna.
