Yes, I am sure it will handle two laptops. I don't know how large your lunch container is, but this backpack is very roomy and extremely durable.

Please try again later.There's definitely enough room for two 14" laptops and a lunch box, but both computers wouldn't be able to fit in the padded pockets...so one would be "loose." There are two padded pockets - one would fit a 15.6" laptop, the other would fit an ipad/tablet. If both laptops are thin enough, they might both fit in the laptop padded area, but would potentially rub together.

I was surprised how much I could put in it and still have room. There is one main sleeve for a laptop in the main compartment and right in front of that, there is another sleeve for file folders. I am sure a 14" could slide in there as long as it is not in a protective sleeve.
