“Can this be opened(screws, snap open,etc) to clean out fans thoroughly?”

• I do not think so, I get a new one. Be sure ot buy a different one. Them holes are too open to let in too much dust etc that it is hard for fan to work .

• No, I don't think that would be a good idea. I would just use (not sure of the name) those air can sprayers that people use to clean between the keys of the computer keyboard.
