- Answer Not worth it I have an m15 that could cook eggs on that cooler, the plastic tends to absorb the heat and just blow hot air around. Look for a metal tray cover over the fan and bigger if not faster fans. The fans on this one are pretty small much better for just typical laptop surfing.

- Answer Pretty sure this is just a standard micro usb that is also commonly called an android cable. I just looked at mine and that's what it is. I also checked one of my other ones and it's a mini-USB a to usb a cable but this is also commonly called a Kodak camera cable.

- Answer I am a fellow DJ (shameless plug here: facebook.com/pandutchofficial ), These fans are meant to limit natural overheating. If you're worried about the sun it would be best to protect your laptop and your gear by playing in shade or buying a camping/beach-style cover to provide your own shade.

QuestionI have a 17.3" laptop, the cooling mat is 16". I was hoping it would cover the full size of the laptop. I don't want to open the package of the mat to make sure it does work well with my laptop. The specs does mention that 17" is the max.

- Answer Late to the draw but it can support 17.3 I have what I’m assuming is a similar gaming laptop to you I recommend not buying it because it will die 3 weeks later, on multiple different purchases
