- Answer It is 14" wide 10.5" deep and 1" high. It is very light (plastic) maybe only a pound. It is very quite, if there is no music playing or other sounds you can't hear it runnig.

- Answer The end that plugs into the chill mat on this model is most likely the Mini USB. Our devices commonly use either the Mini USB or the Micro USB( for example some of our Keyboard cases).

QuestionWhat are the amps, watts, and volts required to run this device safely? I prefer not to plug it in to the laptop as previous cooling mats (not this product) have increased the required energy draw and thereby created more heat than before device use.

- Answer Our Dual Fan Chill Mat Cooling System is plugged into your laptop via USB and draws power from there. A standard USB 3.0 port will provide about 900mA of power but it will be split between all used USB ports on the laptop.

- Answer You just plug it in and the computer on the fan will start blowing. It isn't the best one. I get a different one.

- Answer The fan should help that issue, you may need to run your vacuum over the back to clean out dust on the back of laptop. Use the brush a bit to be sure things are not stuck in between of the grill back there. Also, check your age of your laptop too.

- Answer yes it will turn off. the USB ports power down when the laptop itself powers down. this can be worked around by just plugging the cooler into a 5V cell phone charging brick. a 6 foot mini usb cable works great for this.
