Will this mat help with ESD if I'm using it on my lap??? null

Probably doesn't meet ESD guidelines but I would not use it on my lap. Preferably a hard surface.

Ask the store about it. O would get a different fan for your ESD

If you are going to have both the fan and device on your lap, then position the fan base pegs on your legs, so as noy to overheat the fan.
