I have an Onkyo receiver TX-SR605 that gets very hot. Would the dual fan chill mat cool it down. Is the fan noisy? null

Sorry, I can't answer regarding the Onkyo receiver...don't have one. However, the dual fan chill mat fan is so quiet that when I first plugged it in, I couldn't even hear it. I had to look at it to make sure it was working, and then I saw the 2 fans turning. Extremely quiet. Will not bother you.

The fan is not noisy, but neither is it effective - didn't work at all for my laptop.

The fan is actually pretty quiet, you do hear a soft humming but no more than I would expect from anything that is run by a motor

The fan is for laptops, an as far as noise, you have to put your ear down close to even hear it, thats how quiet it is when it's on

The fan is noisy and it is USB 2.0 powered. Your receiver does not appear to have a USB port that would be required to power this chill fan. It is unlikely that you could use this product for the purpose that you want.

I use this on my Marantz NR1606 and it seems to work well. It does make a bit of noise though. Which is expected of a cheap fan.
