“1. The specifications say clearly this is fine for a 17 inch laptop. But it is sized far smaller- dimensionally matches a 15 inch laptop. Is that specification a mistake? 2. How is this different from the model Model:AWE83US? Also rated for a 17 inch ?”

It could be a mistake, my laptop is 16 inch, for my laptop it is small but if it works even so, its purpose is to cool and it does it well, but it does not look aesthetic hahaha
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can only answer the first question, as I don't have the other model. However, I have a 14 inch laptop, and it fills the mat almost completely. I can only imagine a 17 inch one would hang over the edge of the mat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This cooling pad is sized exactly for a 15-inch laptop. A 17-inch laptop could probably work also but the edges would probably hang over (hopefully those aren’t the areas that need cooling anyway).
