Is the case hard plastic or soft rubbery? null

It is a nice firm but slighty rubbery. Good feel, but substantial.

It is hard-sided. Really nice though.

The back portion that you put your iPad into is rubber. The front cover is a harder material. It has a nice feel in your hand & your iPad is fully protected all the way around. I liked it so much that I bought another one for my iPad Air 2.
