Q: Does it come with a screen protector?
A: It does not come with screen protection that covers the screen or affixes to the screen. It only protect the corners of the screen. I would recommend the InvisiShield Glass + to protect the screen

A: Yes, fits 8th generation.
Q: Can the IPad be held vertically with this cover?
A: not really it doesnt like to stay, best not do it, it'll fall over.
